YMCA welcomes Alinea Land Corporation as 2024 Presenting Sponsor for The Y Saves Lives Campaign

The YMCA is delighted to announce Alinea Land Corporation as their 2024 Presenting Sponsor for The Y Saves Lives Campaign. 

With a generous gift of $100,000, Alinea has helped make a significant contribution to the $25 million goal of The Y Saves Lives Campaign. 

“We decided to support the YMCA because it’s been in the community for a long time and is a well-established charity organization that serves a lot of people,” says Michael Paletta, Vice President of Alinea Land Corporation. “They're very community oriented. They help people who are struggling in any capacity that they may be struggling in. It’s just a great organization,” he says. 

For the YMCA, receiving a gift like this so early in the campaign is heartening.  

“It speaks to both the power of message — that the YMCA truly does save lives — but also signals to the rest of the community that we are a charity that does good work, that we are a charity worth supporting,” says Paul Haddad, Senior VP of Philanthropy of YMCA Hamilton|Burlington|Brantford.

Part of their donation is already being put to use to send young people in need to day camp and overnight camp this summer. Alinea Land Corporation agreed to have $25,000 used as a matching gift for The Y Saves Lives Spring Campaign, helping the Y surpass their $60,000 fundraising goal.
